Dynamic Cupping

Cupping is an ancient Chinese practice where the air is removed from a cup, which is then placed on the patient’s skin. Dynamic cupping, also known as cupping-with movement, is used to treat certain types of fascial distortions causing muscle pain. Once these silicone cups are in place, the underlying muscles are contracted and taken through a range of motion. This relieves tissue tensions and results in pain relief.

Cupping is relatively painless, but can leave temporary circular marks where the cups were applied. The marks indicate movement of stagnant blood as well as toxin release from underlying tissue.

Silicone ups are suctioned onto the skin.

Clients really enjoy this method as multiple cups may be applied to areas and even directly on joints for maximal benefit.
