MASSAGE MISSION STATEMENT

Your massage will take place in a quiet, private room, with soft music and the temperature suited to fit your personal needs. A full body massage usually takes an hour to an hour and a half. Your modesty and privacy will be respected. You will be draped with a sheet to keep you warm and comfortable, only the body part being massaged will be uncovered. I want to be informed about any injuries or problem areas prior to the start of your session. As you receive your massage, I encourage you to give me feedback as to make your massage comfortable and beneficial for you. It is always helpful to take a deep breath, close your eyes and relax during your session. Breathe deeply with an emphasis on the exhalation. Let me try to move your limbs as needed, it is not necessary for you to be helpful. This is your time to relax and enjoy! You may choose to talk or be silent, but also know that the most profound healing happens in perfect silence, silencing the mind and the body. For your maximum comfort avoid eating a large meal for at least one hour before your massage and then for the healing benefits avoid eating a large meal for one hour after the massage. I want to be able to share with you the many benefits that massage has to offer. When you feel better physically and mentally your stress level is reduced. So I would be honored to provide you with a therapeutic massage.
