Dr. Chelf started her career in healthcare in physical therapy. Completing her Bachelor’s Degree at Mount St. Mary’s College, she then continued her quest for furthering her healthcare education by receiving a Doctorate of Chiropractic at Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles.Dr. Chelf strives to stay current with new research to present the most recent healthcare options and treatments for her clients. She studies nutrition, cranio sacral therapy, women’s health, pediatrics, as well as specialized techniques for autism, asthma, and allergies. Additionally, she is a certified in chiropractic techniques for animals. Her main goal is to enter into a partnership with each client, focusing on individualized health plans for each person. She has a strong belief that each person is a unique individual that deserves a tailored plan for their health care needs.Dr. Chelf works with people of all ages, and especially enjoys helping babies, young children, and animals. Currently she lives in North County with her husband and two children. In her down time she enjoys yoga, spending time with her family, and spending time at the beach.
Dr. Chelf is in the process of attaining her diplomate in pregnancy and pediatrics through the International Chiropractic Pediatrics Association (www.icpa4kids.com). She has completed the first year of a three year program.
Dr. Chelf has completed a certification course in animal chiropractic. The course, Veterinary Orthopedic Manipulation (VOM), was presented by Dr. William Inman. It was a wonderful experience and an incredible learning process.
